Home

On the west side of Conesus Lake in Geneseo, New York, we are building memories for a new generation.

Hello and Welcome to the

Friends of Long Point Park in Livingston County.

We are a 501(c)(3) Not For Profit Organization.  All charitable contributions are tax deductible.

The Friends of Long Point in Livingston County, Inc. formed on July 1, 2014 for the charitable purpose of restoring and preserving Long Point Park for the benefit of residents of Livingston County as well as visitors to the Finger Lakes region and others who use parks.

** We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm in room 205 at the Livingston County Government Center (behind the Department of Motor Vehicles office).  Come and be a part of the activity!
The Friends of Long Point are here to work with the Town of Geneseo and help restore a piece of the park's history gradually / over time. We would like to do this by helping out with the exhibits and operations at the Walter Kingston Museum and visitors' center as well as to help maintain and preserve the park in ways deemed best by the town.
We are also looking to provide clean, safe, family oriented activities that are low cost to no cost but could build memories for generations to come.   Some activities include:  Roller Skating, Dancing, Long Point Park Activities and more!

Much like visiting Long Point Park and the Walter Kingston museum, we invite you to take a look around our new and developing site. There is is much to discover; we hope you will learn something new about us and be inspired to get involved or stop in for a visit!

Due to recent activities, we are pursuing our goals in a modified manner and at a slower pace from our inception.

Please pardon our website as changes are being made.
Stay tuned to upcoming developments!
